My first time to Armidale and above all to
Australia. I should have to say this journey has just been incredible, a
journey that I can't express in words but something that I have felt within me.
I had a warm welcome from my senior Bhutanese students starting from reception
at the airport to a warm welcome dinner.
memory is still fresh when I along with three of my colleagues had our
first walk to the university from smith house. I still can't think of a reason
why we hadn't taken the bus. But we decided to walk and we did, that also for 3
hours. We kept walking, walking, walking still not arriving our destination.
Now it's clearly visible with the neon UNE sign post. Before we had the small
carving on the rock which we missed to notice....
