the unsung hero; a war within oneself...incomplete

Encompassed in the grave of gruesome reality, Tenzin leaned on the prayer flag that overlooked the valley of unknown. He was too sure he made the right choice but there seem to be something he was missing, something he couldn't set his mind on, something that made his heart beat a second faster, something he thought usual yet so strange, something weird. "Life's too short to be pondering on second thoughts," he said to himself but he never knew sometimes it was worth the second thought. As a child he grew up to be magnificently strong, well versed in every task. Adulthood shattered him into pieces. Expect the unexpected, people say and it indeed was true for Tenzin. His parents were so proud of him. He was a son every parent wanted, a nephew any aunt or uncle would be proud of, a brother anyone would wish for. However, there was a wild side of him that he kept to himself. At the age of 16 he had achieved more than any 16 year old could...more to come soon!

My first time to Armidale and above all to Australia. I should have to say this journey has just been incredible, a journey that I can't express in words but something that I have felt within me. I had a warm welcome from my senior Bhutanese students starting from reception at the airport to a warm welcome dinner. memory is still fresh when I along with three of my colleagues had our first walk to the university from smith house. I still can't think of a reason why we hadn't taken the bus. But we decided to walk and we did, that also for 3 hours. We kept walking, walking, walking still not arriving our destination. Now it's clearly visible with the neon UNE sign post. Before we had the small carving on the rock which we missed to notice....

To Let Go...or Not!

Last night I had a really weird dream. I saw familiar faces and unfamiliar faces too. But the message I got out of it is how really scared I'm of living. I can't focus on my task at hand these days. Even though I really want to study, my mind seem to have lost the focus I need the most. I don't have anyone to blame for that or may be I do. I'm making sure I don't get stressed and I'm taking a stroll to town as usual on a Saturday morning. The sky is clear blue and I can feel the warmth of the sun rays shining so bright. I know that after every bad storm, there'll be sun shine. And a bad chapter doesn't mean the whole book is bad. I really need to close this bad chapter and open a new one. But why does it hurt so much and why is it so hard. I don't want to complain, I just want to do the best I can. Every time it's a mixed emotion. To let go or to hold on...
