White fluffy clouds in the distant blue sky
The penetrating rays of the sun
The sound of birds chirping
Tree leaves swaying
And the gentle breeze blowing

Thrown into the whirlwind of Teaching

Passion! That's the word I used a lot when I started my degree and when I completed my TESOL certificate. Excitement is another word. But currently, "unmotivated" is how I feel. Exhausted is another word to describe. Losing hope. And my passion has gone out the window. Reality versus expectation. Thrown into a classroom full of western students, I felt intimidated. But I knew I could do it. As my teacher told me, "My heart's in it".

The Quest

Trapped...
As hell may break lose
I'm thrown into the streets
With my heart torn apart
How can I mend the pieces together?
When all I could think of is going back to square one.
I keep questioning myself why I end up in this situation..

Why do I do things the way I do?
So many questions unanswered
That feeling of emptiness
Feeling of void, hole in my heart.
That yearning for love.
That craving for insecurity
Will never fade away
It shall follow me to my grave...
